		This project located south of Kaanapali in West Maui was initiated in 2004. In-kind funding has been committed to by the local hotel association. Installation of this retention basin will reduce sediment load, protect the reef and improve near-shore water quality. Other sources of funding are being pursued. Tri-Isle’s fiscal policies and procedures have been revised to comply with Federal Funding requirements. Search for funding for this project continues
