The Office of Economic Development, County of Maui granted $18,100 to develop an open market place on the islands of Lanai and Molokai.  Project goals were to allow individuals to sell crafts, arts, fruits, vegetables, and other homemade items in a community market.  The markets provided a place to sell directly to the consumer without high overhead costs.
